Hi guys
I want to import an nsz-gs7 into australia through amazon and a shipping agent.
I could not tell from the teardown if the power supply is compatible with 240 volts.
I would rather not use a stepdown transformer.
Also does the web browser work with hulu.com as I hear they block some devices such as the boxee box.
My primary reason for buying a google tv box is to view UK content in Australia.
I already subscribe to unblock-us redirection service.
I can view the sites i want to use on computer and ps3 but would like the sony device as my wife would prefer something easy for her to use.
Thank you.
Is the Nsz-gs7 multivoltage.

Officially it seems to support only 110 volts, but looks like it works fine with 220.

Re: Is the Nsz-gs7 multivoltage.
Thanks for the reply.
I would be surprised if it wasnt, considering that it is released in the uk as well.
Hopefully someone involved in the teardown can chime in.
Maybe even a photo of the voltage rating on the sticker from the device.

What do you mean with "looks like"? Did you try it with 240 Volts in Europe?mcd2000 wrote:Officially it seems to support only 110 volts, but looks like it works fine with 220.
I ordered a US version (cause i don't want to wait that long) and would like to know if i need a 240V --> 120V transformer.
Can anyone confirm that the NSZ-GS7 is multi Voltage capable?
Cheers, Blip

I ordered one in the US - it will take 2 or 3 weeks to arrive in europe. I'm curious about your confirmation! *fingers_crossed*Smudger wrote:Mine should be delivered in about a week.
