Re: accessing recovery mode/receiving OTA's with the 3.1 bet
I was just wondering, has anyone figured out how to access recovery mode from the 3.1 upgrade? Holding FN and left arrow doesn't seem to be working anymore. Also, is OTA updating enabled on this build? I'm just wondering how we'll get out of this build if we can't get to recovery, and hopefully the ...

Re: Booting off USB drive
I've been reading, and may have answered my own question... I tracked down some really great information about the Android boot process: http://www.androidenea.com/2009/06/android-boot-process-from-power-on.html and http://bootloader.wikidot.com/linux:boot:android So presumably, if the USB stick ca...

Re: Honeycomb + Software root = Possible Now?
2 posts above is correct. You even look at it wrong and it will break the signature. Also to mention the apps you mentioned are for froyo builds, there are some new hacks that will work to gain temp root access on GB builds but I have not really looked into HoneyComb hacks at all. I will assume the...

Re: Confirmed Working Apps
Does Dolphin HD browser work with that app? If so it's worth the purchase for me, otherwise not a lot of use to me, but good find for sure.eve79nj wrote:orientation control.....lock it to landscape and even more apps will work

Re: Honeycomb + Software root = Possible Now?
Building a recovery from Koush's source is not a difficult task, getting said recovery on the device is the hurdle. The above method would yeild zero results. You cannot just drop im whatever you please into the build for a non-rooted device. Any modification will break the sig and thus a install a...
