Can Revue see external files to a lan drive?

GTV Device Owned: Logitech Revue
I have a WD Cloud NAS with twonky installed by default....so i have this problem....twonky server is an old version cause WD doesn't care about its clients and wont upgrade twonky to the latest release....

So when i wifi stream movies to revue i can't have subs neither AC3 or DTS sound....

I was thinking connecting my NAS on revue with LAN and try go through the files of it from a file explorer....playing video with VLC or something like this....

Anyone tried to connect a network hard disk with revue?

Can we see the files on the HD via a file explorer??
