I apologize in advance if this is an inappropriate forum for this question, but I was wondering if rooting my NSX-32GT1 would allow me to perform rather mundane tasks like setting the initial source input mode (it always boots to the tuner) or having mute on at startup. I contacted Sony support about performing these initial settings and, while they are very prompt to reply, there was no joy in actually performing these operations on a stock unit. Thanks for any help you can provide.
