It would be very useful to set the DNS directly on the Revue rather than using DHCP to do that. I happen to be using a 3G router and it takes the DNS from the carrier. I would prefer to use my own DNS.

Honeycomb 3.1 will allow you to set static ip info and should work fine with your hotspot.
