There is a different key mapping to get into recovery if you are on Honeycomb 3.1, and I'm not sure what it is. Anyone know where we can look to find the key mapping for getting into recovery? Alt+L get you into the recovery menu and the rest of the key mapping is there.

So in reading all this I am struck by how alpha-ish this release is. If the official roll out is the "late summer" I sure hope this is an old release or it will be late fall before we see it. Any way to tell when this release is from?

The beta leak is pretty solid, only minor bugs. The only one that I've personally encountered is the volume bug which went away after changing channels. What about it strikes you as being "alpha-ish"?

Its definitely not Alpha'ish from what I have seen. It's definitely beta though. No major issues to speak of on my end either. Here's a list of known issues: revue/topic33.html

Let me read back thru the thread again. My impression was that there where lots more issues, but let me go find specific examples. Maybe I am being to harsh (or too chicken as I have not made the jump!) on this release.

I have always been an advocate for the Revue with a good impression but 3.1 beta is way better than 2.1 Only minor bugs for me as well

The only bugs I've experienced have been the black on black text issues stated by the op, and the various apps that won't work b/c they aren't designed for gtv. Of course, that's more of a bug with the app than with gtv. Hopefully when Google releases a stable version of 3.1 they will update the market to show only apps that are gtv-approved.

CJ, when did you post this!? I was going to flash this morning, but now the cold feet are back EDIT Never mind, I put on some socks and went for it Had a little trouble getting into or seeing the recovery menu, but other than that smooth as silk. Sweet - final reboot done (after setup) and I am now at the HC welcome screen. Off to play! THANKS CJ et al!

I had successively applied the android honeycomb updated. Everything was fine, i watched TV, youtube and then turned the unit off. Today when I turned the unit powers up with the logo screen (just logtech with google tv) and stuck there. I couldn't get to the home screen. Any help?
