Well....again.... It's been a few days since he tweeted that. Nothing said of it since. Hoping it is real.

It should be real because it seems he's a well known hacker...

I'm being cautiously optimistic. Dan is a vet exploiter. If any1 can root it...its. him. Bit its been a few days. Like the kernel bypass tweet... Let's not get our hopes up. Great work on his part.

Just so everyone is up to date... Zenofex has confirmed that this is indeed root for revue. He said it has proven to work. They are waiting 1-3 months, as it was said, to release. I assume this is to write proper instructions, make sure all files are correct, and possibly tweek the kernel for flash and all that.

Either way....this is it. Calm before the storm.

Congrats to the whole gtv hacker team for finally rooting the revue and sticking it to unhelpful Logitech. Great work. Donations coming. The revue might be usable again.

Have we any more word on this? I would love to just get it so I can flash the second release of build 61925 and get google play working at this rate seeing that Logitech is taking forever to come out with 3.2. I'd also like to see more development which this would allow. But just wondering.

3.2 is supposed to be rolled out to 100% of the Revues today.

I've actually disconnected my main box from the internet so it won't get the update in anticipation of the root exploit. My other box received the update last night.
