I signed the petition, but I'm afraid this may all be irrelevant. The Revue bootloader is signed with Logitech's private key. I do not see a way that Logitech can open the revue to self-signing or test-signing. We're about to enter a dark era of computing as soon as UEFI becomes standard on everything. If we can only execute code signed by the OEM, we're going to lose out on our ability to run whatever we want. I'm afraid this is just the start.

The can make a signed update which installs a bootloader which doesn't check the signatures. Nothing which is too complicated. Should be done in a day by good devs.
