Thats odd your system partition doesn't come up RW? Mine does. Replay are you using the symlink? If not you'll need to update manually each time, that'svwhy i did it that way.

After reinstalling, the symlink box was checked by default, so I left it, but it listed the data data hosts file as the main... either way, I'm currently ad free. Heh. Thx

Got Adfree working after following both gottahavit and TheGreatDahliLlama's instructions, thanks guys! Next step, trying to get Titanium backup working
