Then I have to thank you first for the .apk myshyak I simply downloaded it from the dropbox and then opened it with "file expert". It asked me to confirm the update of a system app, what I did. That's it. Note that I saw an other market update a few days ago, which was available through the market app itself together with "normal" apps (while the official update to Google Play was different and did not let me enter the market app at all). I did NOT perform this update and went straight to the last version via your APK. Maybe that helped, I can't tell. I have an extra question for you, I updated most of my Revue apps with the same method, getting apk from the "APK Extractor" extension for Chrome. BUT I was not able to find the "Android Market" nor "Google Play" page on the the market website in order to download the apk. How did you manage to get it ? Regards, Laurent

My work-a-round has been to browse to https://play.google.com/store from the browser on the Revue and choosing apps to install from there. Google Play (Market) will not update and TV & Movies will not either....(both showing updates). All non-system apps update with no problem.

I was having the same issue. But I found workaround for myself. It is a temporary solution so hope to see the real solution from Google pretty soon. Anyway, I posted the steps that I took here if you are interested. http://www.techiejunkie.net/logitech-re ... orkaround/

I can guarantee you that I updated my market to Google Play, just as my "TV & Movies" application, by executing the last apk taken from the market via the Chrome extension (APK downloader). My Google Play shows all application "up to date" (no updates available). Google Play is working fine because it updated my "File Expert" 2 times already. However I cannot tell why your revues don't want to update the market nor any other sytem apps, sorry. Note: I live in Belgium and did NOT use any VPN or special DNS, just my normal ISP. I am running the official Google TV from Logitech.
