Anyone getting the new market "Google Play update unsuccessful" message.
Google changed Market to Google Play and my Revue keeps telling me there is an update but fails on it every time. Rebooted, cleared cache/data and force stopped.......nothing.

I wonder why mine is failing? Might be time for a factory reset....see if that corrects it.

Same issue here. I tried, clearing the cache and data in the market app, power cycling the revue, and ultimately doing a factory reset. None of those worked. I finally placed a call to logitech support where they were having the same issue with their test box. They were unable to let me know what the problem was, but said to check back with them after a couple days if the market was still not working.
While we don't have a fix as of yet, at least we know they are aware there is an issue.

And i went home and .... nothing. There is an update, but it does not start at all. I will try in the morning, maybe it is the server overload issue again.

Ditto on this issue. I assume geo-fencing is to blame.

Hi,
I had the same issue with my revue in Europe (starting market bring an update screen which never ended).
I went to the dropbox and found "com.google.tv.mango-3.apk" which seems to be the latest market update for Google TVs. I installed that and my market now works flawlessly (shows "Google Play"). The only noticeable change is that my market is now in English.
I have no access to books nor videos, but that was expected regarding the google announcement about google play for Europe.
Cheers !
