I rooted my 46" Sony Google TV and everything went perfect.. the only thing is whenever I try tobuse hulu or NBC. Com I still get the same error that the device is not compatible.. I read that the root method included a modified flash plugin that would always change on boot and allow for hulu and others to be viewed.. can anyone shed some light into the issue? Do I need to download something else? Or use a different user agent? Any help would be appreciated

you need to change the user agent to generic or a custom one like mozilla 5.0 & than it should work.

I am able to get flash but when I went to ABC it said I needed an updated version of flash. Is there any option for that? If I change to generic would it work?

Go to http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ on your computer and just put in exactly what you see there for the user agent. You must reboot your GTV box before it takes effect. Reboot your device by pressing ctrl+alt+del after you set the user agent.

thanks for the suggestion. i tried that again and it still doesn`t work. i can hear the audio perfect but the player is black on abc. on fox it says i need to upgrade my flash. any other suggestions? is there a way to upgrade my flash?
