So I used to own a bunch of Apple devices and I was able to edit apps and change their display and device reconition so they would work on other devices can you do this with apk ?

Scratch that you can use apktool to disassemble the apk modify the xml file so.you can get the proper resolution and allow an app to run on GTV that normally won't so I am going to give it a go see what I can come up with

This would really be interesting if its possible as some of the apps seem to force close due to screen orientation issues. I hope something comes of this.

Got a couple of apps working this way. One that worked some what was the Veetle app, but it requires Adobe Flash to be installed which has been blocked. I even tried installing the Flash apk and gave some parsing error. Thanks again.

Any new information on this process. It would be great to get more apps working that FC.
