I find that there is nothing syncing with my Google account. When I go into accounts and sync and look at my google account, it tells me it is not syncing anything, so its not finding "my apps" in the market. I removed it and added it again with the same results. But it is seeing my picasa accounts. Can someone else look in "accounts and sync" and see if their google account is syncing anything.

You are right,nothing is syncing. I went into settings, everything was on in my accounts,i did a factory reset and now nothing is syncing. Under Manage Accounts it says Sync is OFF,and under Data & synchronization it says No services available to sync. Maybe this is why i was not getting my email or notifications on my Revue earlier today. I will reboot and keep trying.

just to give more info on my last post
my contacts from my google account are not syncing, is there a way of making this happen
under sync settings, them google account the only thing showing there is sync Gmail and that is working

I think you need an app that use Contacts to have them sync. For instance, when I added the Google+ app, then it showed up as syncing. Since there isn't a Phone app, then there is no need to sync contacts. I assume you have Gmail installed and therefore it syncs you gmail.

does anyone know of a app that is working that would sync my contacts?
what I am trying to get to happen is to have my Google voice app show the names not the numbers

I was able to install super user but it does me no good when I try to open apps that need root it says I am not rooted. I thought this was supposed to have root.
