Thanks for the file. Just updated from stock to beta 1 and this version...i love it!! THOUGH there is no 5.1 support for MKV files STILL....any thoughts????

zeno, if your still watching... you said in the op that software root was in this build but i am unable to set superuser permissions. is it the version of super user i'm using or is it adb root only? i understand that the important stuff like /system and the kernel are still signed. su is there, but the permissions are set up to use from within the OS - you would have try adb. You may be able to chmod the su binary to enable full root - haven't tried yet... Should try. I haven't had success getting adb over wifi to work. Terminal emulators don't seem to work.

Hey guys. Everything worked fine with me.
I also tried lot of applications, and here's what I found:
1. Apps that didn't install or force close when start:
-Gmail v2.3.5 or v3.2
-Google music v3.0.2 (But the website works fine but hard to manipulate)
-Dolphin for pad v1.0
-Opera mobile v11
-Tunein radio
-Zinio reader
-Moxier mail (Setup worked fine but the app didn't open)
-Megaviewer stream pro (Opens but says it needs flash player)
-Fizz weather
-Witiz weather
2. Apps that didn't work because there is not a portrait mode for this application
-KIdsopedia
-Yoo ninja plus
-Go book
-Go weather 1.9.9
3. Apps that really worked:
-Google reader (Works in phone mode but looks good anyway)
-greader pro (Tablet mode, Recommended)
-k9-email (Works in a phone mode)
-Kaiten mail (Tablet mode, Still not visually good)
-All moxier appsother than mail, like calendar & contacts & notes
-File expert (Works great, Recommended)
-Singsing
-Quickoffice HD (Works great and integrates in all the cloud apps like Google Docs, box.net, SugaSync, DropBox, Mobile Me, Recommended)
-Facebook v1.7.1 (Sometimes force closes in news feed but works fine with other categories, like friends & groups & messages & photos)
-Kids Mode v3.3.0 (aka zoodles) (Works but also says it needs flash player, but the Art & books part work fine)
-Animated weather widget
That's all I have. If anyone else tried anything, please let us know...
Edit: I tried installing flash player 10.3 and it did install, but the Google Chrome didn't show the flash parts and after I removed the flash player, it returned to normal and worked great...

I had to try this several times but finally got it to work. Hopefully this will help the others having trouble. Hey, Thanks!!! on my first try when the scrolling and gtv arrow popped up hit alt+L and boom into recovery!

Can't get Spotify to work, even with a landscape mode APK  No luck figuring out the Hulu workaround either. Thought I had it, but no dice.

There is a DropBox account that everybody shares here on the forums, it has pretty much everything that will work on the Revue,First thing you should do is install DropBox,then Install Orientation Control. You should read through the forums,look for the Topic "Confirmed Working Apps",everything you need will be on the first page...

I can't seem to get the Google Music app to work. I don't get Music showing in accounts and sync, and so no music loads - worked fine on the earlier 3.1 leak.
Can anyone confirm that its working specifically on the latest leak?
